Beyond the Circus Tent will be on display at Sacred Root Kava Lounge & Tea Bar for the month of September.
Beyond the Circus Tent is an international collection of dynamic portraits of the world's best circus artists. Over the past eight years, Avi Pryntz-Nadworny has photographed over seventy circus artists from all over the world. These portraits are crafted to highlight the entirety of the performer, not just as the circus discipline they perform, but as an individual. Avi removes them from the spectacle of the stage, make up, and costume. Dressed in their favorite “normal” clothes and posed in locations that have meaning for the performer. He take a photo that highlights the Olympic level of training and skills they have acquired while showing them as a person, a human, with hopes dreams, flaws, and depth.
